Marco Rosario
Executive Chef & Co-Owner
Second-generation owner and guardian of the original recipes. Marco spent his childhood in the kitchen beside his father and has dedicated his life to preserving and evolving the Papa Ginos legacy.
For nearly five decades, Papa Ginos has been crafting authentic Italian pizza and beloved dishes with the same passion, quality ingredients, and family spirit that started it all. Discover the heart behind every meal we serve across the United States.
Papa Ginos was born from a simple belief: that great food brings people together, and that authentic ingredients make all the difference.
In 1975, our founder Giuseppe "Gino" Rosario left his hometown in Naples, Italy, carrying little more than his grandmother's handwritten recipes and an unshakeable dream. He settled in Massachusetts with one goal — to share the true taste of Italian pizza with America. That dream became a reality when the first Papa Ginos opened its doors in Raynham, MA, to lines stretching around the block.
"Food is love made visible. Every pizza we bake, every sauce we stir — it is a piece of our family offered to yours."
Today, papaginos continues that legacy with the same devotion to freshness, quality, and community. We source our ingredients carefully, hand-stretch every dough, and never compromise on the flavors that made our founder's vision real. What started as one family's dream is now a tradition shared by millions across the United States.
At Papa Ginos, our mission goes beyond serving food. We aim to be a place where families gather, friendships are strengthened, and every meal becomes a cherished memory. We believe that great pizza — made with honest, fresh ingredients — has the power to do exactly that.
To serve authentic, handcrafted Italian-inspired food that honors our heritage, nourishes our community, and brings joy to every table — one delicious slice at a time.
We source only the finest, freshest ingredients — from vine-ripened tomatoes to premium mozzarella — because great pizza starts with great produce.
Every guest who walks through our doors is treated like family. Our warm hospitality is as much a part of our recipe as the dough itself.
We never cut corners. From hand-stretching our dough daily to slow-simmering our sauces, quality is built into every single step.
We are proud members of our local communities. Papa Ginos gives back through events, partnerships, and programs that make neighborhoods stronger.
We are committed to responsible sourcing, reducing waste, and making choices that are good for both our guests and the planet we share.
Honoring tradition doesn't mean standing still. We continuously explore new flavors and techniques while staying true to our Italian roots.
From a single storefront in Massachusetts to a beloved institution across the United States — this is the papa gino's timeline.
Giuseppe Rosario opens the very first Papa Ginos location in Raynham, MA. Customers queue for the hand-tossed Neapolitan pies baked in the original stone oven imported from Naples.
Word spreads fast. Papa Ginos earns its first "Best Pizza in New England" award and expands its classic menu with the iconic Eggplant Parmigiana and Chicken Calzone.
Marco Rosario, Giuseppe's son, joins the family business. He introduces new pasta dishes while fiercely protecting the original secret dough recipe that still defines Papa Ginos today.
Papa Ginos grows beyond Massachusetts, bringing authentic Italian pizza flavors to communities throughout the United States. Every new location maintains the same quality standards set in 1975.
Papa Ginos embraces the digital era with a new online ordering platform, bringing the beloved papa gino's experience directly to customers' doorsteps without sacrificing an ounce of quality.
Approaching our golden anniversary, Papa Ginos continues to serve millions of loyal guests. We've refreshed our dining spaces, expanded our menu, and launched community-focused sustainability programs — all while honoring the original vision.
Behind every great pizza is an even greater team. Our passionate people are the true secret ingredient at Papa Ginos.
